One of the most prominent amateur astronomer, renowned author and mentor of many astronomers, Prof. Mohan Apte passed away on 12 November 2019 after brief illness. He was closely associated with Khagol Mandal from very beginning.
Khagol Mandal Nashik Unit called for condolence meeting at Nashik which was attended by many eminent people from Nashik. Convenor of Nashik Region Sujata Babar paid tributes on behalf of Khagol Mandal.
Prof. Devi (Khagol Mandal), Prof. Kshatriya (Science Forum), Prof. Pimple (Khagol Mandal and RYK) and Prof. Gotkhindikar narrated many memories of Prof. Apte.
